TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR RIPENING CHAMBER COLD ROOM
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
In this proposal, we have considered supply of the below mentioned room:-
1.) Ripening Cum Cold Room – 8.5 Feet (W ) X 8.5 Feet (L) X 9 Feet (H)
We have considered pre-fabricated PUF insulated panels for wall, ceiling & floor. Freon-based independent split refrigeration systems have been provided. All civil & structural works including finished floor, secondary roofing, etc. shall be in the scope of customer / other agencies.
General Specifications
The room shall be constructed using Prefabricated Rigid Polyurethane Foam (RPUF) insulated panels laminated with Pre-Painted Galvanized Steel (PPGS) lamination on the outside and the inside with serrations for the walls & ceiling. The lamination color shall be RAL 9002 half white. The wall to wall & ceiling to ceiling shall have profiled edges and the joinery shall be with cam-lock arrangement. The wall to ceiling joinery shall be held using flashing from inside & outside. All the resulting panel joinery shall be applied with silicon sealant.
The floor insulation shall be constructed using RPUF insulated panels laminated with 250-micron thick polythene sheet lamination acting as vapor barrier on both sides. Final floor finish above the insulated floor like PCC etc shall be under taken by the end user.
The door shall be Swing type with lamination same as that of wall panels. Door shall be provided with internal safety release mechanism so that people when accidentally locked inside can come out even when the door is locked from outside.
The refrigeration system shall be split type of suitable capacity with Air Cooled Condensing Units located outside the room and the Evaporator Units located inside the room. The condensing unit shall house suitable capacity hermetic compressor, & condenser coil with fans. Electrical starter panel for the full unit shall be mounted inside the condensing unit. The evaporator shall be ceiling suspended type & cabin shall be constructed using GI casing. All the refrigerant tubes shall be with copper construction & Al fins. The evaporator shall be provided with suitable fin spacing to allow sufficient frost to build up to enable longer operation hrs between defrost. The compressor on/off based on the load shall be controlled by a microprocessor based digital temperature controller which shall also control the defrost cycle, on/off of fans, fault indications etc, thereby controlling the entire refrigeration system.
